In order to help the postgraduate freshmen to adapt to graduate life and to promote the quality of talent cultivation, CCS held its first experience exchange meeting at 3:00 p.m. on October 25, 2018 in the lecture hall. The meeting was hosted by Ms. Luo, and three senior participants including Sun Ling, Xu Juan and Luo Jia were invited to participate in the meeting.
Ms. Luo made an opening speech and put forward some valuable suggestions on the future life and study of the graduate students. Then three senior participants respectively shared their own experience, including how to carry out scientific research and how to plan graduate life. They all pointed out that the basic goal of postgraduate life is to lay a good foundation for future academic achievement. It was also suggested that the freshmen should try to expand their field of knowledge and combine research work with the overall development of individuals. The freshmen also actively communicated with Ms. Luo and the three senior students. During the Q&A sessions, senior students also gave detailed answers for the freshmen from their own perspectives.
The experience exchange meeting came to an end in a harmonious atmosphere. The meeting helps to shorten distances and eliminate borders between the teachers and students of the CCS. This will also help CCS to better carry out its work in the future and enable freshmen to successfully integrate into the new life of postgraduates quickly.
